Kimberly D. Ives is an experienced paralegal who has honed her skills with two other well known law firms in Omaha before being successfully recruited to work at Inserra|Kelley|Sewell. An Iowa native with a varied background, Kimberly found that in her past legal career, when working in environments where she frequently supported the defense of insured parties and insurance companies in personal injury matters, she gained valuable understanding of other perspectives.
As a paralegal, Kimberly drafts pleadings and court orders, works with her counterparts and lawyers in scheduling and arranging for all types of proceedings, and drafts and responds to discovery in important phases of litigation. She also assists the lawyers in a variety of other important tasks based on her skill and experience in working in the field of litigation.
An Iowa native, with five children and eight grandchildren, Kimberly loves interacting with clients. Besides her work history, Kimberly has personal experience with her own family members being seriously injured through the fault of others. This too has given her particular insight to the fears and pain, mental and physical, associated with personal injury, not to mention the frustration and fright of dealing with insurance companies on your own. She has come to recognize the importance of excellent and experienced legal representation and wants to do the best she can to help clients navigate the process of recovery from injuries and obtaining just damages through the legal system.
Kimberly stays active with her grandchildren, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and enjoying her dogs.
