Sanofi Recalls Epi Injectors

Sanofi, the maker of epinephrine injectors for severe allergic reactions, has placed a recall on hundreds of thousands of its epi injectors due to the fact they may not provide the right amount of epinephrine and endanger lives of its users.  The Auvi-Q injection pack normally has two injectors and around 490,000 of them are defective.  Already, the French Sanofi has had at least 26 reports of malfunctions, fortunately with no deaths yet.

If you think you may have a defective Sanofi product, you may call 1-866-726-6340 or visit http://www.sanofi.us/l/us/en/index.jsp for information on returning the product.  It is also imperative that you contact your medical provider so you can be prescribed another injector immediately to avoid being unprepared during an allergic reaction.

If you or a loved one has been impacted by the Sanofi injector already, do not hesitate to contact us at Inserra & Kelley Law Offices.  Our firm values your safety and health, and you may be entitled to compensation.
