Tips for the Popular Drone Christmas Gift

I was in my local cell phone sales office the other day and it was brought to my attention that personal/hobbyist drones are all the rage for gift giving in the upcoming holiday gift giving season.  It is estimated that in 2015 a million drones will be given as gifts to the novice drone flyer and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) does have some safety concerns tied to millions of drones flying out in the skies.   In fact there are some hints to consider when you or someone you know take up the drone flying hobby or are out and about where there is the potential for drones to be flying around near you.

It is safest to be sure that drones fly below four hundred feet and that they stay clear of obstacles, stadiums, and people.  The drone should be kept in view at all times while flying it and should not be flown in a place that could potentially interfere with other aircrafts or aircraft operations and airports.  The drone being flown by the hobbyist should be fifty-five pounds or less and the operator should be careful and consider the safety of others while enjoying the newest aircraft, technological hobby.

If you or a loved one has been injured by the hazardous actions of another, do not hesitate to contact Inserra & Kelley Law Offices to see whether you may be entitled to compensation.  Be cautious out there with new hazards becoming reality, such as the personal drone, being ready to be on the defensive as needed and also looking out for the safety of others.
