Meet Alisha , Litigation Paralegal

Alisha Stalvey is an Omaha Burke High School graduate.  After high school, she attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney (Go Lopers!) where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree, both majoring and minoring in Criminal Justice.  After graduating college, and with a burning urge to learn more, Alisha obtained her Certified Paralegal academic certificate, as well as her license, graduating the program with a 4.0 GPA.  She was inducted into the honors society of Phi Kappa Alpha and is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
Alisha has over 10 years of paralegal experience in the civil litigation process.  Although she is new to the IKS team this year, Alisha knows and understands just how difficult, stressful, and scary the litigation process can be for people and their families.  That is why it is so important that we make this process as smooth and easy to understand as possible.  Nicknamed a “firecracker”, Alisha has always had a strong passion for the law and the desire to help people in the pursuit of justice.  Alisha has made it her mission to use her extensive knowledge and expertise of the litigation process to assist the attorneys in getting the best and most successful resolution possible for all clients the firm represents.
Alisha and her husband, Seth, met as teenagers over 15 years ago and they have been happily married for five years.  They are the proud parents of two young children and a Corgi fur-child that keep them very busy!  Rhett Wayne (5), Charlotte Jo (2) and Sophie (64 in dog years) make their family complete.  When they aren’t knee deep in children’s activities, they enjoy spending family time together going on adventures camping, fishing, taking trips to the east coast, or any other outdoor activity they can make into a reality.  Outside of her paralegal career and her family, Alisha spends her little bit of free time volunteering as the President of her HOA, where she uses her leadership and legal skills to create a pleasant and welcoming community for all residents.
