Have you dutifully replaced full fat pork bacon with turkey bacon to improve your nutrition? If so, that’s great, but you may want to be aware that Kraft Heinz Foods Company has had to recall 2,068,467 pounds of their turkey bacon because it can spoil before the label’s “Best When Used By” date. The subject turkey back was the product made between May 31, 2015 and August 6, 2015 and consumers can go to this link to check out the labels that are part of the recall. The establishment number on the products is P-9070 inside the mark of inspection of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Thankfully, there have been no reports yet of illness or problems from spoiled turkey bacon, so check your turkey bacon package to see if it is from the recall. If you think you have been sickened by your turkey bacon produced by Kraft Heinz Foods Company, be sure to consult with your doctor and feel free to contact Inserra & Kelley Law Offices to see if you may be entitled to compensation.
