Jim joined Inserra | Kelley | Cooper | Sewell in 2022 as the demand paralegal.   Prior to Inserra | Kelley | Cooper | Sewell, he was a personal injury paralegal for several years and an operations supervisor for a health insurance subrogation company for over 7 years.  His job as a demand paralegal is to review all of the bills, records, and other documents, and then composes the settlement demand letter to be sent to the insurance company.  He has over 10 years of experience working with insurance claims. He holds two Associate’s Degrees in both Liberal Arts and Paralegal Studies.

He enjoys being outdoors, traveling, watching sports, and spending time with his dog, Jayden.

Driven by helping others, he takes pride in providing the best assistance and support possible.  As a demand paralegal, his goals include helping clients tell their story about how their injuries personally affected them and always getting the best possible result for the client.

He composes the firm’s demand letters to the at-fault insurance carriers and believes in the mutualistic relationship he develops with the clients while helping them tell their story about how their injuries have affected their lives.

The demand process is the core component in educating the insurance carrier with the client’s comprehensive medical and emotional trauma associated with their personal injury. His vast understanding of this process is a great benefit to IKCS and our clients, and adds value to our client’s claims.
